The Challenge : The sheer volume and the heterogeneous nature of waste itself presents a huge challenge in the reporting of it. Tetrapak faced a challenge in the mixed reporting types it was getting from all their vendors and consolidation of the data was an even bigger challenge. For waste collectors it is a business with little profit margins- people that are doing the work on ground have little to no literacy to use softwares + adding a new resource for reporting is expensive. The solution TetraPak was able to get direct individual and consolidated reporting from all the vendors- live. Vendors feed in information like material inward details, take images that are auto time stamped , log in all the weight details along with transportation details. E-way bills, and other mandatory documents are mapped and reported. All non-financial details (selective data sharing) are shared with Tetra Pak live.
