Our journey started on the ground, engaging with waste collectors & recyclers across India. We saw the challenges first-hand—fragmented supply chains, small suppliers unable to digitize, & hesitation to adopt traceability tools that didn’t add direct value.

We realized that traceability cannot exist in isolation. Without integrating daily operations- uploading documents or a mass balance approach only told part of the story.

We also found another gap—manufacturers & recyclers knew their inputs, but partners & customers often didn’t. What materials were used? Where did they come from? Were they safe? The answers were missing.

That’s why we built Vartul—to bring operations & traceability together, enabling businesses to capture accurate data, share it securely, and create transparency across the supply chain.
